Preparation
To prepare ourselves for the challenge of the next couple of months, Jacob and I have been planning our ride carefully. From our clothes, to our gear, to the food and drinks we’ll need along the way, nothing can be overlooked. The Southern Tier Route begins in San Diego and winds through the mountains for roughly the first week. After we get out of the mountains, we’ll be riding through the desert terrain of Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. Fortunately, we’ll have the convenience of a support vehicle to carry all of our gear. We know this ride could be unsafe if we aren’t careful. We’re taking precautionary measures to assure getting to the finish line in St. Augustine, Florida.
Trip Support
We are lucky to be supported by our friend/nephew/cousin Joe Liebman. He will be providing logistic support, shuttle services for people who join us and general assistance throughout the ride.
